Amazon fulfilled orders are those where the sellers can store their products in Amazon’s fulfilment centres. Further, the staff at Amazon will pick, pack and ship the orders to the customers.

What are seller-fulfilled orders at Amazon?

Seller fulfilled orders are those where the products are sold and dispatched directly through the seller. The procedure to order these products from Amazon is the same as FBA orders.

Received a non-returnable product in a damaged condition. What to do?

If you have received a non-returnable product in a damaged condition, you can contact amazon within 10 days from the delivery of the product. Also, you can call on Amazon tollfree helpline- 888-280-4331 to get further assistance.

If you report an issue with your smartphone, tablet, laptop, television, air conditioner, refrigerator, washing machine or microwave, Amazon may schedule a technician visit to your location. 

Finally, the resolution will be provided based on the technician’s evaluation report.

Amazon Replacement Policy

What is Amazon’s replacement policy?

Items that are returned within the time frame mentioned are in stock with the seller are eligible for a free replacement. Moreover, once you have returned the original product, the replacement will be shipped to you.

When can you request for a free replacement at Amazon?

You can request for a free replacement if – 

  • The product you ordered is physically damaged
  • The product received has missing parts or accessories
  • Product received different from the description provided on amazon.in
  • The product does not work/is defective

If an item is seller-fulfilled, it is not eligible for a free replacement. In addition to this, you must contact the seller for a refund.

Note: A free replacement cannot be made for an item which has been returned and replaced once earlier.

Refund policy for amazon fulfilled orders

  • If the mode of payment that you used to make the payment is no longer valid the refund will be issued through a demand draft. Example – The credit card you used to purchase an item on Amazon.in has now expired.
  • Refund via a demand draft if amazon receives a payment failure notice from your bank. 
  • Amazon.in will send you an e-mail asking for your details, where the demand draft needs to be sent. After this, a refund will be initiated. 

Refund policies for seller fulfilled orders

  • If the item received is damaged/ defective and it cannot be repaired or replaced, the seller will issue a refund.
  • The seller needs to authorise the refund. Amazon.in can help with the process only when the seller notifies them of the receipt of the item.

Finally, once the seller notifies amazon.in of the receipt of the returned item, the refund time period will be applied.

The refunds will be processed through NEFT or Amazon pay balance.
